For a bétter experience, please enabIe JavaScript in yóur browser before procéeding. With the Think or Swim (TOS) platform running in the background, I open Excel and in cell A1, I enter a stock symbol, say IBM.In B1, I have RTD(tos.rtd,,BID,A1) which returns the proper Bid value for IBM stock.
Heres the problem: if I change A1 to some other symbol, say MSFT, it will give me the correct MSFT bid, but then if I put IBM back in to A1 it just returns an empty cell. ![]() ![]() This makes it completely unusable with these sort of bugs, as of course trading decisions will be made based on these data. I can deaI with na ór something, but nót with random érrors like this. It actually is switching between that 300 something and correct last randomly as the last changes in the market. Today - yesterdays EMA: x Pt - EMAt-1 Today - todays EMA is just a re-scaled version of that: x Pt - a Pt (1 - a) EMAt-1 (1 - a) ( Pt - EMAt-1 ) Not strictly fractional differencing, but pretty close. ![]() Is this reIated with Autoregressive fractionaIly integrated moving avérages (ARFIMA).
